Micropump Integral Series Gear Pump with I-Drive

The I-Drive electromagnetic drives deliver high performance in very small packages.  These brushless 24 volt DC motors have no moving parts and feature electronic controllers enabling control either manually, via 0 - 5 VDC input signal or via a 4-20 mA Current loop (dependent on model option selected). With variable speed operation and excellent chemical compatibility, the I Drive offers design flexibility for any application

All options have both thermal and overload protection and a 0-5 V tachometer output.

The I-Drives are CE, LVD and EMC approved and have IP55 rated enclosures.

The I-Drive can be supplied with 2 series of pump head

Series 120 (GJ)

Series 120 (GJ)
Flow rates to 5 lpm

Small Package Size/High Performance
The I-Drive GA and GJ features NdFeB magnets to increase motor torque capabilities while reducing total package size. Innovative surface mount technology improves reliability and enables higher efficiency motor performance

Electromagnetic Drive
The unique, patented design of the electromagnetic drive eliminates all moving parts to increase motor life

Electronic Control
The variable speed electronic controller offers a 0-5 VDC input signal, a 4-20mA current loop, or a manually controlled drive with thermal and overload protection. A closed loop speed control allows for quick and easy setting of speed

Simple Integration
The simplicity of the built-in speed control and tachometer output allows easy integration into PLC or PC-controlled machines or end user applications

Leak-Free/Smooth Pulseless Delivery
The electromagnetic drive and static seals keep the fluid securely inside the pump and potential contaminants out while providing smooth, accurate fluid delivery

Chemically Resistant
An extensive range of wetted material options ensures compatibility with a wide range of chemicals

I-Drive FAQ'S

What is the difference between the old IS drive and I-Drive The I-Drive offers a smaller package size, is more efficient and reliable that the existing Integral Series drives, is IP55 rated and provides greater torque resulting in higher flows and pressures
Will the I-Drive accept 4-20mA input Yes, the I-Drive can be ordered with 4-20mA control input
Will my existing Series GJ or GA pump heads mount directly to the I-Drives No, standard mount GJ and GA pump heads are different that the I-Drive mount pump heads, however, pump head conversion kits are available
What is the I-Drives motor efficiency The motor efficiency at rated torque is 80%. Drive efficiency will depend on the operating point
Can the I-Drive be run in reverse Yes, the I-Drive is capable of forward and reverse rotation. Every I-Drive is equipped with an orange lead. When the orange lead is isolated, the drive will rotate in the forward direction (CWSE). When the orange lead is connected to ground, the drive will rotate in the reverse direction (CCWSE).
What is the life expectancy of the I-Drive The I-Drive is designed to an MTBF of 50,000 hours with a confidence level of 90%
Does the I-Drive's motor have an enclosure rating Yes, the I-Drive enclosure is rated to IP55 (dust protected and jetting)
