HX Series

Overview

Nikkiso canned motor pumps HX Series are centrifugal pumps which are hermetically encapsulated. The shaft seal usually installed for centrifugal pumps is not required. The pumps are driven by integrated canned motors especially designed for high temperature applications. Space requirement and noise emission are much lower than those of conventional centrifugal pumps. The pumps are equipped with Nikkiso's unique bearing monitor.

• Heating jackets for motor and pump available
• Bearing wear control by Mechanical or E-Monitor

Driver

• Incorporated 3-phase asynchronous motor IP67 / IP55 and flameproof acc. to ATEX 100a (94/9EG)
• The motors are in accordance with VDE/EN requirements
• Winding protection (Pt100)

Applications

The use of Nikkiso canned motor pumps HX Series are mainly used for aggressive, inflammable, explosive and poisonous clean liquids at high temperatures.

Typical applications:

• Hot water
• Heat transfer oil up to 350 deg C
• Solidifying liquids with melting points up to 270 deg C
