A high-specification set of centrifugal pumps from Dickow have been sent to a UK production facility operated by a multinational chemicals manufacturer. This package included a selection of pumps designed for demanding chemical transfer applications. Among the units supplied are four KMB h 26/170 magnetically driven centrifugal pumps, each fitted with a 4 kW, 2-pole motor. These are specified for the safe transfer of silane (SiH₄)-based chemicals, operating at a flow rate of 5 m³/h against a discharge head of 30 m. In addition, three NCB h 32/165 mechanically sealed pumps have been provided for the handling of aqueous solutions. These are close-coupled to 5.5 kW, 2-pole motors and are designed to deliver approximately 15 m³/h at 30 m head. Completing the set are two NCB h 40/210 mechanically sealed pumps, each coupled to an 11 kW, 2-pole motor and specified to deliver CIP fluids at a rate of 20 m³/h against an estimated 33 m head.
