At first glance, this may seem like a collection of various centrifugal pumps. In reality, only four of the sixteen pumps are centrifugals: two Dickow NCL hu 50/120 models equipped with 7.5 kW, 2-pole motors, and two Dickow NCL hu 65/165 models featuring 3 kW, 4-pole motors.

The remaining twelve pumps are self-priming side channel pumps of various sizes, with the smallest being seven single stage Dickow SC h 3571 models with 2.2 kW, 4-pole motors, and the largest being a three-stage Dickow SC h 5073 powered by a 22 kW, 4-pole motor.

The brass coupling guards provide a clue that these pumps are ATEX-certified, making them suitable for hazardous environments. This certification is critical, as these pumps are destined for jet fuel transfer applications at a major UK fuel terminal.

Side channel pumps offer numerous features (self-priming, low NPSHR, ability to handle entrained gases), making them an optimal solution for fuel transfer applications. Being able to offer the ideal pump for a particular application is what makes us the go to solution provider for so many challenging pumping applications.
