DICKOW PUMP MODEL HZSA hu 538 FOR PUMPING REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER AND HZSA 684 FOR PUMPING CONDENSATE

These impressive units from Dickow Pumpen are destined for one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, where quality, reliability, and consistency are critical.

The pumps will be used to transfer condensate and reverse osmosis (RO) water - both fluids that demand careful pump selection and design. Throw in a suction lift requirement with the feed vessels located below the pumps, and the solution becomes even more tricky!

For the RO water duty (19 m³/hr at 83 m differential head), we selected three Dickow HZSA hu 538 self-priming, multistage centrifugal pumps. These eight-stage units were long-coupled to 11 kW, 4-pole motors.

For the condensate duty (28 m³/hr at 53 m differential head), we selected a pair of four-stage Dickow HZSA 684 pumps from the same proven HZSA series, again long-coupled to 11 kW, 4-pole motors.

The HZSA series provides low NPSHR solutions with the ability to self-prime, making it the ideal solution for this project.
