Overview
The HNP Mikrosysteme MZR Low Pressure pump series are designed for the precise dosing of low viscosity and non-lubricating liquids at low pressures (differential pressure up to 5 bar, maximum inlet pressure 1 bar). Using DC mini motors, the compact micro annular gear pumps have a small dimensional footprint and low power consumption so that they can be easily integrated into analytical instrumentation and OEM applications. The pumps are suitable for metering and dosing de-ionized water, watery solutions and solvents as well as low-viscosity oils and lubricants.

There are three models in the range: mzr-2521, mzr-2921, and mzr-4622 and each model has an X1 variant. Basic models have DC motors with graphite brushes whereas X1 variants use brushless DC servomotors. In addition, X1 variants include an integrated motion controller for programmable, precise control of discrete dosage and continuous delivery (0–10 V, RS-232, 1 digital input/output).
Accessories include a reduction gear to increase the torque of the pump drive for the delivery of high viscosity liquids and a range of control modules for continuous flow control or dosing.
