We are supplying the highly popular SLH-4G from Bornemann to one of the UK’s leading dairy and confectionery producers, where it will be used to pump soft ice cream with inclusions at flow rates between 0.2 to 6 m³/h and temperatures as low as -6°C, an application perfectly suited to twin screw technology.

Beyond product transfer, the SLH-4G also functions as a CIP pump, eliminating the need for a separate cleaning pump, thereby reducing both cost and complexity. Powered by a 4 kW, 6 pole motor, it can run at speeds exceeding 2,000 RPM and withstand CIP temperatures up to 95 °C, ensuring efficient and reliable system cleaning.
