DICKOW PUMP MODEL SCM h 3571 FOR PUMPING WATER AND HYDROCARBON MIX

These remarkable pumps are scheduled for deployment on an oil rig situated somewhere North of the Shetland Islands. Their primary task will be to handle the challenging duty of pumping hot water contaminated with hydrocarbons. Clearly, in such a hostile environment, durability and solid reliability are paramount. The pumps and accompanying motors are ATEX rated and painted to C5-M standard. Also supplied were numerous test certificates including hardness, vibration, noise, balance, radiography and the critical metric of low NPSH. It is this last certificate that gives a clue to the true nature of these pumps. 

Dickow seal-less magnetically coupled side channel pump model SCM h 3571 long coupled on a baseplate with coupling and guard to a 3 kW, 4 pole, 415 volt, three phase, 25-50 hertz, IP56, IE3, ATEX Ex II 2G Ex db eb IIC T4 Gb motor with thermistors. 1.5” x 1.5” ANSI 150# flange connections. NPSHR = 1.1 metres.
