These days, it’s rare for a week to pass without us shipping pumps for the hydrogen production industry. Our latest shipment is for Liquiflo H5F external gear pumps, specifically supplied for a hydrogen electrolysis application.

These pumps are designed to transfer 30% potassium hydroxide (KOH) at temperatures up to 80°C. Given the relatively high temperature and the corrosive, irritant nature of KOH, the pumps are built with stainless steel casings and use a seal-less magnetic-drive configuration for added safety.

Each pump is paired with a 0.55 kW, 4-pole, ATEX Zone 2 motor, delivering a consistent flow of 4 LPM at 4 bar pressure.
