The hygienic twin screw pumps from Bornemann are a relatively new - but rapidly growing -part of our hygienic pump portfolio. Highly regarded in the pharmaceutical and food production sectors, these pumps are ideal for the gentle handling of viscous fluids or products containing soft solids. With capabilities of handling viscosities up to 1 million cP, differential pressures over 25 bar, and flow rates exceeding 300 m³/hr, they’re built for performance and reliability. This particular SLH-4G model is being used for pet food production - a typical and well-suited application. As well as their ability to handle viscous liquids, these pumps have another benefit. They can operate as dual-duty units, managing both the process fluid and the CIP (Clean-In-Place) liquid, eliminating the need for a separate CIP pump - saving both cost and complexity. |
