While the DB Series of plastic magnetic-drive centrifugal pumps from Finish Thompson is widely used for aggressive chemicals, it’s also an excellent choice for transferring less hazardous liquids that are sensitive to metal leaching. This makes it particularly suitable for industries such as hydrogen generation and, as shown here; pharmaceutical and medical fluid manufacturing. We’re currently supplying three DB15P polypropylene units, each coupled to 2.2 kW 2-pole motors, to a leading manufacturer of specialist medical fluids for the transfer of raw materials.
