FINISH THOMPSON DB SERIES MODEL MSDB2V-FF-6-8P-84 FOR PUMPING WATER / GLYCOL MIX

Seldom a week goes by without us providing chemical transfer solutions from Finish Thompson’s DB series of seal-less magnetic drive pumps. Their close coupled design saves on workspace, the polypropylene and PVDF casing options provide excellent corrosion resistance, and their carbon graphite bushings provide short term dry run capability.

In this project, we supplied an MSDB2V multistage centrifugal pump close coupled to a 1.1 kW, 2 pole motor. The configuration will deliver a water/glycol mix at a flow rate of 4 m³/hr against approximately 18 metres head. The application required operation at up to 100°C, so a PVDF casing was chosen to provide the necessary chemical resistance at this elevated temperature.
