This CP10 hygienic rotary lobe pump from Viking Pump Hygienic is soon to be installed on a chocolate enrobing machine at a leading UK chocolate producer. It will be handling a variety of different finished chocolate products. Michael Smith Engineers were called in to review the system which was proving problematic with inefficient pumping and product wastage. We recommended pipework and valve upgrades, which along with the new pump will ensure a trouble-free process. The CP10 is part of the Viking Pump Hygienic Classic+ series. This is a mainstay in food production and pumping chocolate is just one of the many hygienic applications that this pump is suitable for.
