These three hygienic lobe pumps from Viking Pump Hygienic are headed for a demanding role, pumping high-temperature glucose syrup at a leading food manufacturer. Supplied from the Classic+ Series, the package consists of two CP30 pumps coupled to 3 kW geared motors, and one spare bare-shaft unit. The motors are fitted with forced ventilation, enabling reliable operation at very low speeds. This is essential, as although the glucose syrup reaches temperatures of up to 150°C, it remains highly viscous. The pumps are replacing units from an alternative manufacturer that are no longer capable of handling this arduous duty, demonstrating the robustness and reliability required for challenging hygienic applications.
