VIKING INTERNAL GEAR PUMP MODEL M4124A FOR PUMPING FLAMMABLE LIQUID

It is always gratifying when a customer expresses such satisfaction with a product that they insist on replacing it with the exact same model. This was the case with the pump assembly shown to the left.

The pump is a Viking M4124A internal gear pump with 4 inch ports, and nominal flow rate of 95 m³/hr. To ensure optimal performance for the application, it is coupled with a Nord gearbox, facilitating a 280 RPM output, which translates to approximately 60 m³/hr.  

Those who know these things will immediately spot that the WEG motor has an ATEX terminal box, and this is because the pump is being used on a transfer duty of a flammable liquid.

The pump is destined to replace an existing Viking pump model M4124A that has faithfully served its purpose since the previous century, serving as a testament to the unrivalled durability and robustness of Viking gear pumps.
