The ZP Series circumferential piston pumps provide standard features and material upgrades that add to the durability of these workhorse pumps. A 304 stainless steel gearcase, stainless steel bearing retainers, stainless steel splash guards and one-piece 17-4 stainless steel shafts are STANDARD UPGRADES on EVERY ZP SERIES PUMP.
All ZP1, ZP1+, ZP2, and ZP3 Series are hydraulically and dimensionally interchangeable with U1 and U2 style pumps so upgrading is drop-in and go!

The patented design upgrade of the highly succesful ZP1 changes the position of the dynamic o-ring, allowing replacement without removing the body or having to disconnect the pump from the piping system. The patented Ampco ZP3 Series is an industry-leading positive displacement circumferential piston pump known for its state-of-the-art hygienic engineering. It features a patented front-loading mechanical seal design that mounts the seals closer to the fluid flow path, eliminating all dead zones in the shaft bore to drastically reduce maintenance time and improve seal life. The ZP3 comes fully CIP-able (Clean-In-Place) as standard, unlike traditional models that require disassembly for washdown or efficiency-losing modification for CIP.
