Overview
The ZP1 Series is the industry workhorse – a proven, trusted circumferential piston pump with a large installed base in both sanitary and non-sanitary applications.
Available in 14 models, including rectangular flange models for highly viscous products, the ZP1 offers 5 seal options that are easily converted in the field. Seal modifications such as the PTFE double lip seal make the ZP1 suited to the toughest applications, from chocolate to paint processing.
Ampco’s standard ZP Series upgrades come on every ZP1 at no additional charge, including a 304 stainless steel gearcase, non-galling Alloy 88 rotors, stainless steel bearing retainers, 17-4 PH shafts with more than three times the yield strength of 316, helical gears, 4-way mounting, multiple threaded grease zerks, anti-microbial lube, gasketed stainless steel clean-out plugs and a stainless steel splash plate.
The ZP1 conforms to 3-A Sanitary Standards and is easily maintained and simple to disassemble for COP cleaning when required. Optional pressure relief valves, heating jackets and rotor designs support process control.
All ZP1 Series are dimensionally and hydraulically interchangeable and serve as a ‘drop-in’ replacement for competing U1, U2, TRA10 and TRA20 OEM sanitary positive displacement pumps.
