Overview
Outstanding resistance to both wear and chemical attack are among the key features of the MZR Hermetic Inert Series of micro-annular gear pumps from HNP Mikrosysteme. These pumps features the toughest, most chemically resistant materials for the key components and incorporate a magnetic coupling to ensure leak free pumping.
Rotors and functional elements made of synthetic diamond with tungsten carbide core give the pump the highest chemical resistance and an outstanding resistance to wear. Shaft and bearing made of SSiC (pressureless sintered silicon carbide), a magnetic coupling and pump housing components made of alloy C22 (DIN 2.4602) make this pump able to withstand the most aggressive and corrosive media.
The Hermetic Inert Series is designed to deliver smooth, precise pulse-less flows at differential pressures up to 60 Bar and is ideally suited to critical fluids handling applications. It incorporates a dynamic brushless precision motor with a 500 count per rotation encoder.
Successful applications have included pumping organic compounds in continuous processing systems in pharmaceuticals manufacturing, accurate pulse-less small capacity dosing of flavours and additives in food processing equipment and precise, smooth filling of medical capsules.
