SAWA PUMP MODELS P92-R9KFI G1B-E/E+R/4.0-2 AND P73-R9KFI G1B-V/V+R/1.5-2 FOR PUMPING ADDITIVES

We recently worked with a manufacturer of insulation products for the construction industry, who required pumps to handle additives at low flow rates against medium pressures.

With requirements of 2.5 m³/hr vs 5.7 bar, and 0.9 m³/hr vs 3.4 bar, and the customer’s desire to control flow rate via throttle valves rather than utilise VSDs; peripheral regenerative turbine pumps from SAWA were the ideal solution.

The P92 and P73 mechanically sealed peripheral pump models are constructed from 1.4435 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance, and for this project they were coupled to motors with IP66 enclosures to meet the tough operating conditions on site.
