VIKING INTERNAL GEAR PUMP MODEL KK1224A FOR PUMPING ADHESIVE

When we fit a slow running gearbox to a gear pump it usually means that the liquid involved is very viscous. That is the case here with this KK1224A from Viking Pump, long coupled to a Nord 126 RPM gearbox and 3 kW 4 pole motor. The liquid being pumped is a resin based adhesive and even at the operating temperature of 180°C it is still pretty thick and needs robust and reliable pump to handle it.
